Old friends uncovered

I bumped into several of my old school mates over the weekend. We were at the Paradise Sandy Beach Hotel in Tanjung Bungah, Penang, where we were taking part - well, almost all of us - in the Penang Food Hunt 2007.


To the left in the above photo is an old pal from primary school days, Yong Soo Heong. There's also Lim Siang Jin (the organiser of the food hunt) and Kee Thuan Chye. And what a coincidence that the four of us are or were, in one way or another, associated with the journalism industry. Soo Heong is with Bernama, Siang Jin was with The Edge and Thuan Chye is still with The Star.


And in this pic, that's Andrew Choong on the extreme left while sandwiched between him and me is Teh Beng Hooi (Siang Jin's wife). That's Thuan Chye again on the right.
