What's all the fuss about? Just because our honourable Members of Parliament didn't look good on television on the first full day of debate in the august House, the government wants to pull the plug on the live telecast?
Yes, there were lots of disgraceful shouting, lots of childish insults and impassioned name-calling and I believe it is too soon to deny Malaysians the opportunity to see how our MPs perform.
Let us continue to see our MPs and judge for ourselves whether they are worthy of the votes we have given them. what a cheek the government has to deny us that after they promised a new openness to parliamentary debates, even for only 30 minutes a day!
