I feel angry that this person, Rais Yatim, is now claiming that contrary to what many believed, the federal government had not allocated funds for heritage conservation in George Town. Read it here.

Whose eyes are he trying to pull wool over? He's the blardy bugger in charge of the ministry overseeing culture and he cares two hoots about culture conservation and preservation in this country. He has no business to be in that seat if he continues to harbour such an attitude. The people of Penang will remember him for this blatant denial. Good-for-nothing idiot.

Naturally, Lim Guan Eng was reported to be quite furious when he learnt this. "We urge the federal government to play its part to preserve, protect and promote heritage in Penang and George Town. If there is no RM50 million as promised, it shows the federal government does not care about the heritage status and does not value UNESCO’s recognition.”
