There have been rats - big rats - running around the drains, ground and roof beams in broad daylight for decades with the Penang Island Municipal Council (MPPP) or the health authorities doing nothing about it and now, with the family dispute boiling over into the open, MPPP decides to "take action" for the sake of maintaining cleanliness and hygiene.
For heaven's sake, MPPP, (1) butt out and let them settle their family dispute on their own, and (2) you should have taken action on the rats a long time ago without now using the licencing issue as an excuse to butt in.
