The Deer and Lang's Caves are next to one another but to go to the caves would mean a 45-minute walk along the trail which was mostly on a wooden boardwalk. We didn't see any wild boar or tiger, but we came across some of the smallest creatures crawling on the wooden railings. But first, the scenery....

Lang's Cave
The first cave visited was the Lang's Cave, the smallest of the four show caves. The beauty about this cave are the limestone formations - the stalactites and the stalagmites - which took tens of thousands of years to form. They are truly impressive. But sorry....I took very few pictures inside.

Deer Cave
I took more pictures inside the Deer Cave than the Lang's Cave. A few notable ones below. To me, the Deer Cave was wetter and water was dripping down everywhere from the roof of the cave. The Deer Cave has reputedly one of the largest cave passages on Earth. Used to be the largest cave in the world until supplanted by the Son Doong Cave in Vietnam. So it's the second largest cave now.
