Chess @ Hanoi SEA Games, Round 4

In this afternoon's fourth round, Yeoh Li Tian and his opponent agreed to a quick draw after only seven moves in their game. Tan Li Ting did a giant-killer act by disposing off the Philippines' top woman player. And meanwhile, both Lye Lik Zang and Puteri Munajjah lost, the former through some self-induced adventurism.

At the end of the second day's play, Li Tian has three points from four games, Lik Zang one point, Li Ting 1½ points and Puteri Munajjah ½ point.
