Pani puri

I had always been intrigued by this savoury tidbit called pani puri. Finally found it selling by a roadside vendor in Penang's Little India. Six round pieces of puri, a small container for the mashed potatoes and chickpeas, and little plastic bags containing the other ingredients - chopped onions, condiments and the all important pani water. So I broke a hole in the puri, filled it with the potatoes and other ingredients, and then scooped some of the pani in, before I popped the whole thing into my mouth. The taste was exquisite. Sweetness mixed with sourness. Everyone should try it. Quite an experience!
