Chess @ Hanoi SEA Games, Round 7

The good news in this seventh round of the Standard Chess competition at the 31st SEA Games in Vietnam is that Yeoh Li Tian has pulled his groove together again. He kept up a relentless pressure in the game and once his Myanmar opponent allowed him to enter an endgame with two bishops against a rook, the result was never in doubt. 

Lye Lik Zang salvaged a draw after finding himself down by two pawns in an opposite-coloured bishop ending. Tan Li Ting also drew her game but Puteri Munajjah's poor form continued without any respite in sight.
