On my way back from Kulim recently, I couldn't resist buying this gigantic fruit. It's no ordinary cempedak. It's the CEMPEDAK CHAMPION, the best in Penang and Kedah, and some say northern Perak too!It wasn't cheap. This 4.6kg fruit cost me RM15. But it was well worth the money spent. Just look at the size of the fleshy, succulent pulp. Such a rich colour. I've never tasted such sweetness in a cempedak for quite a while.
