Well, well, well. We are now into 2024.
The year 2023 passed by so quickly for me. If anyone were to ask what I had done in 2023, I would have to list down the following: (1) Got myself mightily involved with the Centenary celebrations of The Old Frees' Association, (2) Organised a Fide-rated chess tournament in the Penang Free Schools' Pinhorn Hall on behalf of The Old Frees' Association, and I quite liked the experience of involving myself in the game again, (3) Wrote a book on The Old Frees' Association's 100-year history titled Centenary, (4) Enjoyed a family vacation in Taiwan, and (5) Found myself on the brink of entering the seventh decade of my life.
