My nephew, Alvin Quah, has been participating in the 14th season of Masterchef Australia. This is the second time that he is taking part as a contestant, having finished sixth in the second season of this series in 2010. For this year's 14th season, the producers had invited back 12 contestants from the previous seasons to join 12 other new contestants. The grand finale was yesterday but unfortunately, Alvin had been eliminated earlier and finishing sixth again. Nevertheless, it's still a big achievement.
