"What you saw today was human courage. It wasn’t a great performance but we got through it. Coming back from Wednesday night, having to come through all that travel, the lack of rest - the players have shown fantastic courage. We've not seen the real Manchester United - there was tiredness, the pace wasn't there but we're happy with 1-0. Just towards the end there was the penalty kick (for City) which I'm not sure was or not but apart from that we were on top."
