Ryan Giggs, 34 years old last month, has collected an OBE from the Queen for services to football.
The 34-year-old Cardiff-born former Wales captain, who made his Old Trafford debut at 17 and scored his 100th league goal for Manchester United last weekend, collected the award at Buckingham Palace.
“It is a very proud day for me and my family. I’m lucky to play for such a great club for such a long time and have a successful career.”
