I caught a significant moment in Malaysian chess on the eve of the changing of the guard: Dato Tan Chin Nam stepping down as the MCF president and Tan Sri Ramli Ngah Talib taking over as the new MCF president.
One of my favourite quotes from Dato Tan: "We can all argue about who is the strongest chess player in history. Was it Bobby Fischer or is it Gary Kasparov? The answer is neither. The strongest master is Time, which never loses a game or even a tempo."
