This is a picture from one of the old football games in Europe. Very 1960-ish. What caught my attention was the guy on the left. Who was he? He didn't look togged up like the rest of the fellas on the field. He looked dressed up for a round of golf or something and just strolling across the goal post to get into his golf cart. Could he have been here by mistake?

Actually, no. That seemingly out-of-place person was Egon Loy, the goalkeeper for Eintracht Frankfurt. Eintracht played Real Madrid in the final of the 1960 European Cup in Hampden Park, Glasgow. Real beat Eintracht 7-3 and this was just the opener.
