I had an interesting conversation with a young man at the food court last night. For months, I had been rather dissatisfied with my Value 80 plan and my wife's Value 50 plan because the service provider had bumped up my package from the previous plan (a RM75 package) and converted my wife's line to the Value 50 package without so much of even a short advice. Also for months, we couldn't even finish utilising all our packages' values despite talking to our daughter in KL every night.
So last night I took the opportunity to ask this young man to help me with the package downgrade. Which he did within 10 minutes. No hassle. And I also took the opportunity to get a new line for my wife. It's a win-win situation. I've downgraded my packages, my wife has a new number and the young chap will get his commission from selling me the new number. I'll be cancelling her old number as soon as possible.
