For the sixth day in a row, dark rain clouds, strong winds and thunderstorms have brewed in the late afternoon. Today, I simply stood and watched the birds struggle against the wind as they sought to find shelter in the tecoma tree outside my house.
It also struck me that about two or three weeks have passed by since the tecoma trees had completed their brilliant display of colours. The seed pods are developing. However, it will still be quite a while before the pods ripen and split open.
