View over the Dindings region
Hardly 25 minutes out of the Penang International Airport last Saturday, this fantastic sight greeted me from the aeroplane. Time was about 8.45a.m. and there was still mist in the air. Since this was a turboprop aircraft, it flew lower than the jet airplanes and gave me a real nice look at the ground below.
In the distance are the towns of Sitiawan and Lumut in the Dindings region (now known as Manjung) of Perak, but the meandering river in the foreground really caught my attention. I didn't even realise the bridge across the river until I took a good look at the picture. Wow!
