Tan Boon Lin, 1927-2025
Sad to hear of the demise of Tan Boon Lin, my first Headmaster in secondary school. He was the first Asian appointed as Headmaster of Penang Free School from 1963 to 1968. I shall pay a tribute to him in my blog this Friday.

It is always sad when somebody within your universe dies. Though I was 3 when he ended being a HM, I used to look at the Board in the school hall and I was proud that a Malaysian finally helmed PFS..Fortis Atque Fidelis forever..RIP Sir...ganeshpanadam 1984
