Hill rape (2)

More indiscriminate clearing of our hill slopes in name of development. This picture was taken yesterday. It's part of a quarry, located behind the TAR College campus in Tanjung Bungah, Penang. I've been told that the quarry's ear-shattering and ground-shaking blasts would interrupt classes at the college and the air would be filled with dust. Why the authorities allow this to happen is beyond my understanding.
