The Story Of ... CREAM ...
I just newly acquired this double album (above) without realising that it is a relatively rare German compilation of the best works of the super-group Cream. (Everything that's printed in the album's gatefold cover is in the German language.) As we all know, Cream comprised Eric Clapton, Jack Bruce and Ginger Baker. Songs on this album:
Side 1: Traintime, Toad
Side 2: White Room, Sittin' On The Top Of The World, Strange Brew, Tales Of Brave Ulysses, Sunshine Of Your Love, Take It Back
Side 3: I'm So Glad, Politician, Spoonful
Side 4: Born Under A Bad Sign, Badge, Crossroads, NSU, Passing The Time, I Feel Free, Mother's Lament
Now, this is different. It's a live compilation album released in 1970 and it's more commonly available. But just take a look at the photo on this album cover. It's the same photo used in The Story Of Cream. Anyway, this album comprised four live tracks recorded in 1968 and one studio track from 1967: Live Cream Volume II was released a few years later but I don't have that.
Side 1: NSU, Sleepy Time Time, Lawdy Mama (studio track)
Side 2: Sweet Wine, Rollin' And Tumblin'
